From the video, the rooms and furnishings look almost exactly like those of the Statendam. I loved the Statendam, and I'll be on the Zaandam this summer.

Nice video. My wife and i sailed on the oosterdam to Mexico and had a great time.
The ship was very similar.

You are sure to love that cruise! Everything about this ship is fabulous. I still consider the food some of the best I have ever eaten, the entertainment is a thrill, and there is no way any one could not have an amazing time on this cruise!

Cruised on MS Zaandam Feb 5 - 15 2010 Fm San Diego To Cabo, Loretto, Guymas, Topolobambo (w/tour to Copper Canyon), Mazatalan, Puerto Vallarta, and back to San Diego. Best thing: Excellent staff and service. Ship beautiful inside, excellent food, lots of great entertainment. Each cruise is unique and this time it was a 99.9% all white passenger list of 70% older Americans, most from Midwest. Very laid back, almost comatose. Ship does have a very nice children's section for families.

i was just on this ship for an alaskan cruise from june 19 to june 27th. it was amazing.

Cool I'm going later this month; any advice on excursions? I heard it's cheaper not to book with the cruise line... but I dunno, because I want to be safe!
