@bdhenderson Again, scientific studies on iberian people say otherwise. don't you blacks always argue that linguistic word is not viable? Or is that only when it doesn't support your afrocentric theories. The irony is that if the moors were really negroid it would completely contradict the NOI & Farrakhan teachings.
@bdhenderson Shut up your an idiot, Christ your two a penny on U tube .... Moors are not a distinct or self-defined people. Medieval and early modern Europeans applied the name primarily to Berbers (just like I said), but also at various times to Arabs, Muslim Iberians and West Africans from Mali and Niger who had been absorbed into the Almoravid dynasty, The term 'Moors' has no real ethnological value .... exactly what I said below.
from Wikipedia .... go argue with them if you want.
@khasseki If you've been studying history 12+ years and didn't know the Moors were black, then I must question what else you've gotten wrong about history. The linguistics of the word "Moor" is just one proof of the meaning of the word. There's even expensive european jewelry called blackamoor jewelry. Tom Molineaux, a famous black boxer in the 1700s in Europe was called the fighting Moor.
@bdhenderson Dude what the hell? I've been studying history for 12 years+ I know what I'm talking about and I'm half Arabic, I don't care what the entomology version says, Moor was a name given to North Africans by Europeans same way they called Arabs and Turks Saracens, North Africans are Tunisa, Algeria, Morocco etc, these are people of Arab looking appearance, I know I've been there lol, yes black Africans live there also but not that many, I mean what is it your actually saying a Moor is?
@WinkyMaeve There's so much historical evidence pointing to the Moors as black Africans it's astounding. There's even propaganda pieces drawn by the Spanish that shows black African Moors who ruled Spain and Granada as an army of the anti-Christ.
@khasseki the entomology of the word moor proves you wrong. In the romance languages Moor was translated into Moro, Moir, and Mor and derivatives of it are still found in those languages today.
Mora means blackberry
Moreno means a dark haired woman
Moricaud means dark skinned
Morillon means black grape
Mora means negro in Italian
Mora also means blackberry
Moraiola means black olives
Also there's pictures, writings, & records of the moors being black all over Europe (like blackamoor jewelry).

@bdhenderson Show this historical evidence, because science says otherwise.
