"Strange Boarders" was the first film to be completed at the newly opened Pinewood Studios in 1938. It also marked the second film appearance by comedy actress Irene Handl, who in this scene explains the quirky rules of her boarding house to prospective guest Tom Walls.
This film has not been shown on UK tv for over ten years and is still awaiting a dvd release. The UK copyright technically expired in 1988 but as part of the Rank films collection, the rights to the film are probably held by ITV so let's hope they may consider this for dvd release.
Where's the rest of the film?
