If you enjoyed my solo, then vote for it here:

http://www.indabamusic.com/opportunities/staind-guitar-solo-opportunity/submi...

The voting period begins on August 10th and goes all the way through August 17th.

I figured it would be some fun and I probably meet some interesting people along the way.

  • The best

  • @billsdynasty09 I just did this for fun...it took me a whole half hour to put this together, I m not too concerned about placing...lol...for this style of music...the shredders always win...I just find it funny that you can use the blues to fit anything....and thats all I am is a blues player, nothing more..lol thank you for your comment. cheers!

  • @jashobbsie Not truee, listen to the solo that went into the song. =p

  • @mewnessbro my avourite was chris feener...he should have won...myself and everybody i showed thought the same...i like the winners second part of the solo but the opening lines didn't do it for me....i hated his tone..lol cheers!

  • I have to say, that was the best intro I've heard in this contest

  • @ChocolateTundra thanks man..lol appreciate that.

  • What about your guitar guy? fender custom shop custom deluxe tele??

  • @jashobbsie My favorite was probably Gerardo, guitardw, or fretdance's. Those were all unique and very funky. As was yours, I liked it. Good job man.

  • Amazing solo! By the way, where did you get your shirt? It's great! :P

  • That sounded great man! Good technique and very clean.

  • yeah yours is the best. great job on following the progression of the song, and also your solo makes since, and there aren't just a bunch of notes thrown together to just sound fast and complicated. Great job. I liked the part when u mimicked the guitar when it came back in towards the end. Nice job

  • @jashobbsie as guitar players, me and you think alike. When I was inventing my solo I started out with a slow intro like how you did. And your solo was good. You say that you're not much the metal player but I think you can do it, you should listen to Jim Root's soloing style 'cause I think that'll fit you a lot and get you to playing metal style solos.

  • i bet this is the only telecaster in the contest!!! i love it man... sounds awesome!!

  • Love your vibrato and use of bends! I'm trying to develop mine just like that.
