It is a ridiculous joke. I find it hilarious.
Nick Cave basically asked what was popular in music videos nowadays and this is what he got.
The women were actually dancing to something generic that they are used to dancing to and knew nothing about what the actual song was.
It's not objectifying women, it's a social commentary.
