When I was in graduate school at the University of Illinois, Professor Scott Wyatt contracted me to create video images for his music piece "Trans."

We created the video imagery at the University Broadband Studios, Urbana, Il. The method uses the video feedback technique developed by Barry Schmetter, and adapted by myself.

And later, Scott organized the images and then we edited the "final cut" of the video at the WILL TV studio in Urbana, Il with the assistance of the editing staff.

This digital transfer was done from an orignal 3/4 inch U-Matic copy by Brent Backhus at Real Time Copies in Culver City, CA, 2011

Scott Wyatt was my instructor for music 101 and is currently the head of the Music Composition Department at the University of Illinois. Over the years he has been a patient and dedicated mentor to hundreds of aspiring young composition students.

I am very proud to have been involved with this video and hope you enjoy it.

  • Technology becomes obsolete; art doesn't.

Geez, Bill, even though this was made over 25 years ago with computers that don't compare to what's in a modern-day celelphone, this is good stuff!
