Gods of the New Age - Mind-Control Cults - Shows how it was conceived in the early 1960's at a planning session by Hindu (aka Brhamin) gurus in India as a means of converting Americans to Eastern mysticism. A documentary exposing the dangers of the New Age Movement: Yoga, Meditation, Kundalini, Psychological Therapy, Mind Control, Vegetarianism, Gandhism, Hollywood mysticism and much more.

I get the feeling that there is not enough critical thinking happening in the West about Eastern mysticism. It can be dangerous. You lose your sense of identity, you capacity to distinguish fact from fiction becomes diminished and your innate sense of right from wrong gets greatly distorted. Here it is all of India's problems.

If you like this, you may also like the 1988 movie The Deceivers:

India, 1825: The country is being ravaged by the Thugees, cult members also known as the "Deceivers," who commit robbery and ritualistic murder. Appalled by their activities, an English officer, Captain William Savage, undertakes a hazardous task. In disguise, he will himself become a "Deceiver" and infiltrate their ranks. Ever-present in Savage's adventures is a terrible sense of fear; he is at constant risk of betrayal and vengeance, and undergoes a disturbing psychological transformation as he experiences the cult's bloodlust at first hand. Starring Pierce Brosnan as the heroic Captain Savage, and stunningly photographed by Walter Lassally, The Deceivers is an exotic, gripping adventure yarn, reportedly based on a true story, that charts one man's daring exploits to expose a murderous secret society.

  • i think there are mixing up hinduism with sikhism.... sikhism is wayyyyyy different

  • @JohnGotti604 Only as different as two children from the same mother.

  • You'd have to be a right idiot to fall for all that rubbish.

  • @GazMysticism Take it easy. These people where introduced to a new way of being tricked that they had never learnt to guard themselves against.

  • @82abhilash Having a bit of sense wouldn't hurt lol

  • @GazMysticism Agreed. But when coming face to face with a new and exotic idea it is difficult to know what the sensible approach is. More often than not you learn the hard way.

  • looks like a bunch of dotheads mixed with a bunch of wishy washy hippies who never know what they believe.

  • @82abhilash Sori i was being unfairly harsh.

  • what a lot of tosh...about the way women are treated....its absolute subjugation just to provide slaves for the men. Wow I cannot believe this. Is it really true? No wonder the world is as it is.

Its Domestic Violence and Child abuse.

  • It maybe true people who are emotionally wounded are easy prey. we all long for meaning in our lives. Lack of support from family and friends causes weakness.

  • this is the first time I have seen something like this. I cannot believe how gullible we as humans are. We are clearly a desperate race if we become convinced that one person can provide the answers to all our problems. Wow this is so horrible. It is all about greed and power.
