Friday January 14th, 2011, as I was walking the dogs in the woods, I stumbled upon white mysterious jelly blobs. It couldn't have fallen from the trees, and it can't be spawn. A bit further down the path there was strange yellow-white gooey stuff, which might have been a mushroom? I don't know.... it looked more organic than the white jelly.
Anyone who has an idea or saw similar stuff, please comment.

Wow! did you not see the 1060's film 'The blob'? 'Fellow in the woods comes across similar and pokes it with a stick - blob gains strength and absorbs man, then roams around catching humans' - You were lucky THIS time flaxious :)

This is a star mold jelly. This jelly can move becouse it came from space or a shooting star.Since it came from space it carrys a lot of germs that makes a mind of its own so it can move.DO NOT TOUCH OR EAT THIS WILL CAUSE DEATH! carful.

@flaxious Hi there, Im going down there today to get a better look at it, if its still there. Ill take pics and a video it its there. I didnt get a proper look at it yesterday. Ill post up a video if its there!

I found some today in a wooded area in Dunlop, Ayrshire, when I walked my dog. My dog didnt like the look of it and backed away!!

@lilyrose367 Interesting! Sorry, got a few questions. Did you see the yellow thing or was it the jelly? Did you take pictures or did you film it? It is probably still there tomorrow. Both the dogs I had with me didn't even notice it I think. I recall they were miles ahead of me. Come to think of it, maybe because of this stuff...

@flaxious Hi, I took a couple of videos today, uploaded as "Strange jelly in Scotland", they are on my page aswell. I didnt find any yellow substance in it, it looked like the way lumpy wallpaper paste goes! I liftted it with my fingers! When I walked home I could swear my finger was heating up where I held the jelly stuff!

@lilyrose367 That's lots of it, some say it is spawn puked out by birds, but viewing the amounts you found I think that can't be the case! Very brave of you touching it!
