5:00 Wow I'm surprised someone actually stood up to Jack's nonsense.Al D'Amato put him in his place.Didn't know there was intelligant people over at FOX.A round of applause for you sir.

@SFLTroy - are you really saying that UPS and Fedex don't deliver to certain places? You may want to read up on "American Letter Mail Company". back when the post office only delivered to the post office, the ALMC started delivering door to door for like 10% of the price of the post office. What did the post office do? they sued ALMC and got them disbanded as an illegally entity.
But you probably already knew that since you are so smart and I'm just a backwater hick.

Wow D'Amato totally missed the point because of the _example_ that Burkman put forth.
Importing unskilled labor to be employed by the federal government (i.e., consume our tax dollars) is an outrage isn't it?

This makes sense if you live in the middle of NY but what if you live in the middle of nowhere...USPS is your only choice.

how long have you been retired? I've seen mail being loaded on my flight while waiting to board. Loads of priority sacks and parcels and trayed mail. FedEx does move a lot of our mail, but I doubt that they are doing it out of the kindness of their hearts. It must pay pretty good. I'd love to see those contracts, since we are funding FedEx's employees too. USPS also has trucks that move the mail too, so not ALL of it goes through FedEx.

A man who expresses and confront another man for his wrong doing is deemed as going postal . . . ? Al D'Amato is not postal, he had every right to combat such idiotic and hatred comment. I am happy that Al D'Amato made those comments. It is about time that someone said something, especially on fox.

Burkman touched a nerve when he said he found it "grotesque" that a living politician could/would have a post office named after him. In fact D'[Amato has a federal courthouse named after him and that IS EVEN MORE GROTESQUE! both commentators were obnoxious. but then again......it's FOX.
@Shekie2000
Yes it is common sense and logical that there would be more post offices than McDonald's restaurants and that is why Fox New and the republican guests found it so difficult to understand. Common sense and logic are not their strong points.

Fedex and UPS are profitable because they only deliver to profitable routes. USPS is obligated to deliver to your address no matter where you live and they charge much less. That includes the backwater hick areas most Fox viewers come from.
