At his best through the late 70s he was as creative & accomplished an artist as rock has produced. Hell I learned to play by copping his licks! I've been bummed sine with his re-writing the same love songs over & over. Just saw The Union & he point blank said he'd gotten lazy for ages in his songwriting but working with Leon Russel "..Kicked my ass and got my writing going again!". BTW all you fellow Elton fans check out The Union if you haven't, it's what music is supposed to be about. Peace!

Let's talk musicians. Strip away the strings, the electric guitar and the choral and Elton, Nigel and the late Dee Murray could still do a kick butt live version of this as a trio. Unbelievable!
