@flight2k5 You missed the point entirely. You must not understand anything about low-end torque, or have poor reading comprehension. Plenty of V8s would be revving higher on this obstacle because their torque peaks are higher. High revs = vacuum cleaner sound, even with louder exhausts. This Jeep just rumbles on up, no need to scream its guts out.

I have a 54 Willys and had a 99 wrangler. I will always keep the Willys, but had to sell the wrangler to get a minivan. I am thinking of getting a Wagoneer. Thanks for the video.

Wow, what a great vid. Gotta love the low end torque; it doesn't even need to rev! A lesser vehicle weighing this much would be sounding like a vacuum cleaner, even in lo-range.

you're right about the vacuum sound, newer cars to me just don't have it.
I guess theres pro's and con's to everything. the transfer case is still a Borg Warner, the only difference is it no longer has the viscous coupler and it has the clutch pacs in it so I no longer have full time 4 wheel drive, manual hubs up front and this T case has a pretty nice gear reduction unit for some pretty good lo-range creepin. thanks a bunch for the comment,
