@Bernie: I poison myself all the time, along with millions of other Americans. I eat food grown with pesticides, drink fluoridated water (Or BPA water) and am indoors or in a car most of the day. I also smoke tobacco and drink beer. I don't, however, go out and rape people and hold a gun to my mom's head for 20 bucks. I did drugs, enjoyed myself, stopped, then went on with my life, as did many of my friends and siblings.

@Bernie: There you go again! You're lumping everyone who does drugs into one violent group of people. It's simply not true. Everyone I know who's done drugs have families, jobs and don't commit crimes. I've done almost every drug there is - never shot anyone, robbed anyone. People use drugs for different reasons and they aren't the same.

You're talking about the worst absolute scenario to paint a picture for all those who recreactionally and responsibly use alcohol and other drugs. In addition - PRISON TIME DOES NOT SOLVE DRUG ADDICTION. If they are violent yes, if they have a health addition, then no.
