In this video I shares the exercises I have found to be the most helpful in building in getting better at drawing whether it be drawing heads, faces or the full figure clothed or naked. This information can help people who are into all types of drawing from manga/ anime, figure drawing, animation, life drawing, architectural drafting to graffiti or caricature and more. I this video Dawood draws from life with a ballpoint pen and no erasing. Enjoy, I hope you learn something and thanks for view!

  • thank you for the video. I stumbled on it on a day I didnt feel like drawing anymore. Thank you.

  • @khairilzikri7 There are many different way to draw and a couple different ways that I know of to pivot from when creating lines. Sometimes I draw from the shoulder and other times I draw from the elbow and wrist, depends on but not limited to the style or size of the work. Yes when you are doing contour drawing it is recommended that you not lift the drawing tool during the exercise until the drawing is complete.

  • Sorry...I have poor listening skill...English is not my main language...but ..I understand some of it..So you say that we must only lift the pencil/pen after we finish and satisfied with the stroke?? How to get use of it? It's really hard to throw away my bad habit to draw the same line again and again...Do you draw from your shoulder..If you do..How???
