A resolution is being voted on by the Parliament in Iraq on whether or not the Iraq Government will approve the occupation of Iraq for their government for 3 more years.

I wrote one of my detailed descriptions as usual, but the new YouTube upload system keeps eating my descriptions. I am seriously frustrated because it definitely took some time for me to write the original description for this video and once again YouTube's upload system has heartlessly thrown it out.

Nevermind the rest. U.S. Out of Iraq.

  • i like your lamp. where'd you get it?

  • I bought the lamp at a house & home warehouse type store about a decade ago that shortly after went of business. It is a cheap replica of the antique biotite lamps. I'd like to replace it with an actual antique eventually! Dig your robots.

  • Military Industry.

  • I agree with what you say.

  • So how did this vote go, I hope they don't approve it.

  • No the U.S didn't invade Iraq due to WMDs when Saddam started taking Euros instead of USD he became a threat to the US. Iran also no longer accepts USD. The problem is the US doesn't have the military might to successfully invade Iran using conventional forces all that's left is the nuclear option. Faith in the US dollar is crumbling worldwide soon it's only value will be as a petrol dollar so the US must successfully control Middle Eastern oil or our currency will collapse so the US stays.

  • It's such a complicated issue and not so black and white as to say "stay" or "go". Yes there are US responsibilities there, and yes it's not just as easy as packing up and leaving Iraq. But I agree that U.S. has been there long enough. My husband is ex-military (U.S.) and agrees as well - it's time for them to come home. The only way it would make any sense for them to stay is if they completely took a differend approach at what they were doing.

  • gay?

  • If they don't want us there, shouldn't we just leave... Yes.

3 more years is 3 years too many.

  • YES! I have been saying this forever! I was there and I do know. This coming from an infantry medic (me). It's a new strategic foothold in the middle east. Since Kuwait has kicked us out in 2006 (at least started to) the base of operations has changed to Iraq. I could go on for days about this, I truly could. I won't, this video was very well put. Thanks for wanting me(we troops) to be home. This is where I want to be. War sucks. <3 you Chris!
