  • Aaaaaw YEAH! Gate of Thunder has such awesome music. The track at 2:23 is my ultimate favorite and brings back lots of great memories of my high school years.

To this day, I still wonder if Gate of Thunder and Lords of Thunder were ever connected in some undercover way... :P

  • Lords is the unofficial sequel to Gate.

  • I like to think of Lords as the unofficial prequel. :P Was there some sort of story connection? Its been a looong time since I've last played it...

  • Same here, and I never really played Gate much. I was going by what I've read/heard, plus I'm pretty sure the same team worked on both games. I don't think there's any plot connections between the two, so I just treat them as similar shooters in the same series, a la "Soldier" games for PCE.

  • I loved the music for Gate of Thunder. Could you try uploading the soundtrack for The Dynastic Hero, garudoh?

  • I'll look into it, but I'm getting a ton of requests these days, so I can't make any promises.

  • Mortal Combat?!?!?

  • bad ass game bad ass music and loved the music. god music the pop too.

  • Probably the best shooter style game soundtrack for the Turbo Grafx Super CD system. Sorry Sapphire, this one still beats you. Nick Wood did an absolutely amazing job with this entire soundtrack. Those first few notes will always remain legendary to me, and the ending theme was just pure genius.

  • DON JINGI!!!

    That name still confounds me.

  • musical geniuses created this game's soundtrack

  • this game's music ownz!!!!!

  • both of the "thunder" games look pretty awesome...if I was to choose, I'd probably go with Lords, though. Life Force was an awesome game, too, hopefully that comes to VC soon...not too many co-op shooters on there.

  • first time I've seen this game. looks aw some. I've always been an R-type and gradius fan but this is good as wells. thumbs up.
