what is the engine?
It sounds about right but isn't it much bigger than the OX-5

Bob, congratulations. You can see flight video of the Curtiss A-1 Triad, the first US Navy Aeroplane on YouTube Search "JFL9180." This reproduction was made by the Curtiss Restoration Shop. The following link also carries flight video of our 1914 Flying Boat "America." Both are powered by original Curtiss V-8 Engines.

Is this the same guys from the Barnstorming movie? If so, you have too much fun!

Well, I was too chicken to go with wing warping and installed ailerons on it, but still had that stupid all-flying tail (they called it the influencers) Video is attached but you have to approve it. Or you can go to my channel Fokker1915

Now you know how I felt when I put the first flights on the 1915 Fokker Eindecker replica that I built.

My grandfather and I were up at New Market about 2 months ago and saw this airplane. They we're just finishing up the control surface system. What a sweet little flying machine!!!!
