@miglegtr Sal is the strict father figure that Mookie never had, for all of Mookie's slacking, Sal could've fired him but like he saws mthe end, "you've always been like a son to me". Watch part 7, and you'll see Sal's true side, trust me! No more bullshit, I'm being serious. And I know it's just a film, and if I offended you, I am sorry. This film just means a lot to me, because it's the first R rated movie my uncle took me too, and the last one we saw together unfortunately :(

@Tateromeo84 a good deal? you said it yourself, two bucks, especially in the eighties// early nineties is too much! just for some more cheese? Sal loves his customers? or loves the money? does he love them or is he patronizing them? pay more attention. Sal is the embodiment of the racism in the institution. because he is an italian that couldnt make it in his own neighborhood so he choose one that was struggling bc he knew hed have no competition. runnin out of space..

And all Buggin Out owns is his precious sneakers, which have stains on them now compliments of John Savage :)

@miglegtr People who put a business in power, bitch please! If it wasn't for Sal offering a good deal on pizza (although I will admit 2 bucks for extra cheese is a wee bit much) but even still, Sal loves his customers, look how he treats Da Mayor. He works his ass off for his customers and gets disrespected by the local troublemaker. Even Jade thinks Buggin Out's beef with Sal is crazy. Sal is the embodiment of the American Dream, because he owns his own business.

@Tateromeo84 the thing about being racist against black people is that you don't have to be white to do it. so whether you have dated black people or not or whether you are black or not, if you really think that buggin out is a disgrace to his race instead of responsible for his own actions like everyone else... and if you think that the people who put a business in power have no say .. then you are stepping on the american dream.

@miglegtr I am not a fucking racist, I've dated black women and I have a dear friend who is black and he happens to agree with me on Buggin Out. And why is Sal racist, because he won't put any "brothers" up on his wall of fame. He's fucking Italian, so of course he's going to put Italians on his wall. And it's his place of business, so he's the boss and has the right to do whatever he wants. If anyone is a bigot, it's Spike Lee.

@Tateromeo84 if you really think its just about the sneakers then you are racist too just like sal. and you are missing the point of the the dialogue and the whole movie

@TheIgonoranceSlayer I am chill, thank you very much, but when I get attacked by Special Olympic hopefuls like Mr. Pedro, I feel obligated to defending myself. Nobody seems to think his comments were inappropriate, now do they? This is the last time I'm coming back to this vid too, because there's nothing but rude people here.

@Tateromeo84 It's a movie. He's playing a character. Basically, chill tfo
Bugging Out and his buddies are a disgrace to their race. Fucking punks that got nothing better to do than pick a fight with a guy who "Accidentally" stained his sneakers. I'm glad Buggin Out goes to jail later, he should be ashamed of himself.
