I am sorry for the criticism, but I really think this music only serves to negate the aesthetic of this movie and what the movie is all about. I don't mean to be a bully, but I would invite you to re-consider. Because you are sure right of one thing, RAN is a masterpiece and is worthy of tribute. What is a more appropriate sound to represent this movie? How about the scene with the flute. Or the sound of silence.....

This music makes it feel like a Jerry Bruckheimer/Michael Bay movie.
