Raindrop Turkish House in Houston hosted Superintendent Dr. Timothy Jenney, Fort Bend ISD for a luncheon with the topic "The role of education in shaping our future ". Dr. Timothy Jenney spoken about the important role of education in shaping our future, especially in light of todays 21st century global society. He encouraged parents and community members to help inspire young minds to understand the importance and benefits of an exceptional education over the course of ones life. He reviewed the history of American public education and some of its unique attributes. Dr. Jenney shared some statistics concerning the return on investment (ROI) for educational attainment. Our president of Turkish House presented a gift from Turkey and an appreciation certificate to him at the end of the program.
