Loudoun County Green Business Challenge

Loudoun County Supervisor Andrea McGimsey tells how the idea for the 2010 Green Business Challenge came about. Ted Lewis of GeoConcepts sparked the idea. The 2010 Green Business Challenge was a partnership between Loudoun County Government and the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce. The top place finishers were AOL/Large Business Category, The National Conference Center/Medium Business Category, and Unison Advisory Group/Small Business Category.
Southland Industries won the Innovation Award or the "Triangle Award" for thinking outside the box in recognition of their creativity.
