"Motown 25: Yesterday, Today , Forever" was a 1983 television special to commemorate Motown 25th year's anniversary, an occasion on which MJ reunited with his brothers and performed on stage. On that day MJ performed what was to be one of recent history's greatest songs " Billie Jean " and did his Moonwalk for the first time while wearing his trademark rhinestone glove on the left hand. The glove is made using cream leather. It has a Velcro flap for adjustment. The glove is completely different from the others that MJ had worn during this period which feature the more characteristic hand sewn crystals. It uses instead a mesh web of faceted rhinestones, hand cut to the shape of the glove. These strips of rhinestones have been whip stitched to the back of the glove.
