**High passenger HIC readings were from he airbag not providing enough cushion. The airbag under-inflated, causing the dummy to severely bottom out on the dashboard.

    Unless it's been investigated in a rear-world accident, it will not be reported. Once the 2011 Results come in for the SRX, we will see if it needs to be recalled.

    Yes it was, the passenger's seat belt pretensioner failed and only the first-stage of the airbag deployed. Just a fluke.

  • or actually, maybe because the air bag came out too early, and by the time the person hits it, the air pressure has already ran out

  • or could this be a fluke? cuz i thought the srx uses the same passenger air bag as the saturn vue, which got 5 stars from NHTSA's crash test

    and from this video, the air bag did deploy on time, so could this be a fluke? lol

  • another thing.. howcome it got 4 stars when HIC is 835? shouldnt that be a 3 stars or less?
