Isn't it offensive to use the word "dumb" as if it means the same as people who are stupid?

The next ad should be "This party is so dumb" and the black guy will be like. Don't you know that the word dumb means people who can't speak? Then the girls will be like "He totally thinks we're losers now"

It's tragic that these videos are trying to stop gay people from feeling abused but using the word "dumb" as if to say they don't care about people with a handicap.

I don't get it...is someone who has a physical disability and unable to walk suppose to get mad when someone calls something lame?...NO, as has been said, it's the "evolving" of language...and just because a new generation uses a certain word "gay," "lame," "neat," "cool," "fag," "gross," "queer," etc. doesn't change the original meaning...people need to stop being so sensitive and trying to be PC.

@kinghick If it is not bad for gay to turn from "happy" to "homosexual", what is wrong with it becoming "lame"? Is it because happy is a "good word" and lame is a "bad word"? Society was much less accepting of gays when the word meant "happy" then when it meant "lame". The fact that society as a whole thinks about gays more means that words like gay, les, and queer infitrate our culture more, to the point where their meaning changes and evolves. @kinghick I see your point, however, in my experience the majority of the people who say, "That's so gay" are using it to imply that something is stupid or gross, which is how they see gay people. They use it as an insult because they think that being gay is an insult, and that hurts. This campaign is aimed at showing the people who don't think about what they're saying that their words actually have meaning.
