A few University of Texas theatre students got the chance of a lifetime Friday.
Students got to do one-on-one interviews with legendary actress Meryl Streep.
Streep answered questions about her career, the changing entertainment industry and how she found happiness.
She said people should strive to simply be good human beings and remain dedicated to what they're passionate about.
"I think if you have a lot of interests and a lot of concerns and you work hard at keeping yourself engaged in the things that matter to you, I think you'll be fulfilled in your life," she said.
Streep said when she was in her third year of graduate school, studying acting, she decided to take the law boards because she thought she might want to become an environmental lawyer.
"The more you know about everything, a little bit of everything, the more you understand the world around you and uh and the better person you are," she said.
But after sleeping through the exam, she decided to stick with acting.
WHAAAAAAAAAT?!! I WANT A ONE ON ONE TALK WITH MERYL!! -.-
