Its the BEST AIRPORT in South America!!!
Look it up and you'll see. Its been the best airport in 2005, 2009, 2010, and now 2011. The award was given by Skytrax.

@AlternaivoX0007 No creas. El aeropuerto de Santiago y Montevideo creo que son mas modernos. Al menos, no estan en un barrio feo como el de Lima. El Aeropuerto de Santiago se encuentra en una zona despejada, con un hotel afuera, una fuente de agua, ascensores en la calle, con puentes, etc.. en cambio el aeropuerto de Lima esta en una zona invadida de casas pobres.. lo que hace ver fea la zona

El Aeropuerto de Lima es el mejor junto al de Santiago de Chile y al de Montevideo en Uruguay. Lo unico que no me gusta del aeropuerto de Lima es la zona en donde se encuentra que que una construccion moderna en un barrio pobre no queda muy bien

REALLY?! I think the germans just capitalized on the project, while the ones who actually did work to improve the airport (aka behind the scenes) were the peruvians!!! sheesh, the airport before looked great anyways, there are now just some minor changes.
