I remember playing this at an arcade when I was a kid. I'd put about 5 dollars worth of quarters in right at the start, and just play and play for hours. Then when I got Gauntlet II for Nintendo I stayed up playing the game for 16 hours straight. That version goes as far as Level 998 then it takes you back to Level 2. The arcade version goes as high as 999 then back to 8.

@NathanIVV LOL, yeah but chasing "poontang" is a game too. It can cost way more tokens too.

@MrSlate112 Emulation is when you use one machine to simulate the environment of another. For example, you use a piece of software to create a virtual arcade machine on your PC. This in turn allows the game to function on your PC much as it would on the "real" arcade cabinet.

you can emulate the original game and play it on your pc
its 100% identical to the arcade version
