Quick video on how I make pasta fazool heavily influenced by my mother's version growing up. Some crusty garlic bread for dipping would be perfect with it. And real garlic should be used about 2 cloves minced.
I made your pasta fazool tonight. OMG, it's good! Followed your recipe: olive oil, onion, (I added anchovies) tomato paste, Italian seasoning, chicken broth, I used cannalini (white beans) instead of (red) kidney beans and for the pasta, I used tubettini (store didn't have ditalini). It is so delicious I can't stop eating it. Thank you!
@GuilfordMaine hey thank you very much I'm glad I could help you out. That is the reason I made the video to help my friends and you tubers make some delicious easy food. Feel free to add ground beef, bacon, spinach or whatever you want to it, this is just the base on which you can make many varieties! let me know how it comes out
Thanks man! Forty years ago, my sister dated an italian, from italy, and began making incredibly delicious italian dishes the likes of which we had never had in our boiled potatos and cabbage kitchen. One of the dishes she made she called Pasta Fazool. Now thanks to you, we can have it again. Thank you.
for sticking to the point in the making of your video (with the one reference to the beer for variety). Very nice. Good camera work - on subject, nice time lapse and editing.
@GuilfordMaine awesome! love the anchovy touch
