Leigh Halfpenny finishes the first of Cardiff Blues' tries during their rout of Gloucester in the EDF Cup Final. Great team effort during a superb performance.

  • @Givemethelotion----How tall is he?

  • he fair comment mate! but serious halfpenny is a top class player! ok he might of not played his best in defence yet but, just give him time as you said. He is still pretty new to the international scene just needs the experience!

  • hes a bit overrated on what hes done so far. a lot of his scores have been easy finishes, some have been good.

hes one for the future but he lacks a bit in defence and positional play atm.

and he'll never replace shane but when shane goes hopefull halfpenny will be at his full potential

  • Went to twickers to see this, fucking class.

  • quality try..

  • ye i'm 14, and when i met him in Edinburgh, i was taller than he was xD

  • I was at the Ricoh arena ( Coventry city football ground ) watching the ospreys loose 17-0 to Gloucester and blues win against the saints.. I was on a rugby tour when I watched .that try it was brilliant at the time but it's got to be less special now. I really wanted to see two welsh teams in the final but when Ian Balshaw intercepted that pass in his own 22 my heart sank

  • Great try. I wish Cardiff could have built on this for this season. But circumstances are such that it's unlikely. Halfpenny is class. Small - but class!

  • he really isn't

  • That was an absolute gem

I'm a Dragons fan, but last season the Blues were the most exciting Welsh team by a mile. They were so good I even payed £40 to go and watch them in the HC semi

I hope they do well this season too
