(Turn your volume up the video quality isn't that great since its from my phone)

Tilly is totally potty trained, and waits for me to wake her up in the morning before she does her business. She has learned how to say her cue along with her name, haha.

This is Tilly going through her morning schpiel of Tilly Tilly poo poo Tilly Tilly Tilly poo poo Tilly in the morning.

Don't worry. I don't show the outcome. Lol.

  • lol Aww i just got mine today and hes guna need alot of training he bited realllllllllllly hard hes 2 do you think he will start talking ?

  • It's never too late to teach them to talk, though mine learned how to right away since we had a lot of one on one time with each other.

  • My green cheek is potty trained too, and he's learned to say "Poop, Charrrrrlie!" He does the same funky dance as Tilly before he drops his first-of-the-morning.

  • Haha, gotta love those GCCs! Tilly has now taken on more words including: hi baby, I love you, good girl, s'ok. She then makes up her own sentences. I never expected her to try to talk so much!

  • I know how you feel! Sometimes we just have to set ours down on his cage after he lets out his morning gallon of poo so we can applaud.

  • Those morning poos are amazing... I can't believe my Archie can fit them inside him!

  • @NerdHunter87 LOL Yep they can certainly hold it in over night. Not sure why they do that. I've actually thought mine to poop on command every time he's let of of the cage so he doesn't go pooping on something he's not supposed to. They're smart little things :).

  • How old was he when he started talking? I have a green cheek who is almost five months old. She is a doll!

  • too bad tilly isnt a girl :/ only the boys talk haha sorry to break it to yah

  • @tornandfrail They are really smart. I didn't even try to teach mine to talk and he already knows three phrases.

About the biting, Green cheeks are infamous for it. Try not to freak out when he/she bites. If you give a huge reaction they will think it is fun and do it more. When Tori, my bird, bites I put him on the ground or tell him "Be gentle" and put my finger gently on his beak.

  • lol my green cheeks name is buddy he just turned one and he says "hey buddy" and makes kissing noises

  • i have an 8 month gcc nd its a true american bird becacouse it loves junk food lol like pizza, nd sodas lol but of course i dnt let her eat dat kind of food everyday jus now nd den and damn it loves and i mean LOVES attention from everyone.

she loves taking my ear rings away as well she just loves shiny things lol

  • I have a green-cheek called Kelly. we call her Baby Bird because she's the smallest bird in the house. And she says her nickname religiously. what's funny is she'll put a lot of emphasis into it when she wants attention. she'll keep going at it with that emphasis until we pay her attention. considering several birds live in the same house... it gets a bit difficult to.

  • i'm getting a conure soon and i was just wondering how you potty trained it?

  • He's trying to shit?
