You know... I was just thinking that the other day XD
Using the tilt sensors you know the angle... and if you know what height you are measuring from... if should be fairly simple to estimate (or... if you are REALLY careful) approximate the location that the ipod touch is facing.
I like the sliding bar feature. That's pretty neat and creative.
