@SorrowNight Be it warsow or quake, you dont win matches with movement alone. My movement wasnt good, nowhere close to that of my opponent who was able to outrun me all the time, but I was able to cover for that. Not to mention you dont run forward as fast as you can in important match like that, especialy with all that shaky nervousness connected to it.

@FromWitchSide you dont win with movement alone but you cant win without it (on quake). this just goes to show the differences in skill level between an established and more successful arena shooter (quake) over something more niche (warsow)

just look up some quakevods and you'll see what I mean. if the movement scheme in warsow is similar to quake (and from my experience it is, also from the few vids I've seen of warsow) then movement is simple .. you don't need to practice it, just know it

@SorrowNight Well I agree that warsow comes nowhere near to quake, actualy I never considered it as proper tournament game, but thats because movement in that game allows you to snatch any item and go away with little damage, something that is impossible in quake or unreal. Also so you know, Daxio, my opponent from final, switched to QL and is able to win against people like polish toxic and is doing good job against top (but he isnt as recognized as reload, also from warsow). Im myself from UT.
