  • pls who is the artist of this music?

  • @uyi100 Artists: Counting Crows and Vanessa Carlton. Song title: "Big Yellow Taxi"

  • I don't understand the lack of concrete vibrator. The difference in quality of the concrete is drastic.

Why haven't you put a layer of rocks for drainage under and around footing ?

(don't know it's name in english)

  • @ValarMorgoth "French drain" was placed along the sides of the foundation.

  • good song for this for some reason.

  • Is every video of a concrete pour filmed in Mexico? Thats all I see working in these videos is Mexicans

  • looks like there was no slump test performed and the soil directly in contact with the fresh concrete was not presoaked. You just might not have the required concrete strength assumed in the design...oh no vibrators too; any concerns with unconsolidated concrete?

  • @Omnimeister I think there might always be people willing to spend the money and get a real professional generations of experience....but they will soon die :( I cant believe Costco now does renos and even cabinets

  • Slide shows make me mad

  • @Omnimeister Don't say that, you'll give WALMART new ideas!

  • 1:37 says it all...the anglo contractor/foreman and the cheap labor latinos doing the pour...as a California contractor myself I seenthis for over 15 years now. Cheap labor makes construction world go round. The days of a true crafstman and tradesman died probably with my fathers generation. Pretty soon you will be able to order this service from Wal Mart I suspect...

  • @danielson2065 Well if you own the home i highly suggest doing it better to be safe then be the victim....its never to late...plus it adds clearer air quality for your home.

  • @stigmatic79 I'm not a contractor. I'm the home owner.
