@SunlightSheds I have read that the green light is important with red and blue light, so why do you have not green light but orange light?
-
have you done the same test with a 400MH, instead of the HPS? i think then the results would not be the same, though i dont think led could not be better than either.
-
so... is the ufo led better?
-
does your company ship to the uk
-
ofcourse you grow tomatos (y) :)

i like your vid..i've been playing with plants for many years..i'm currently growing a tomato plant with just 4w...seriously..lol one 4w HPLED....when/if i ever get the time i'll make a vid myself &show you..it's about 6in with 3 nodes right now.my light reserch is kinda like the way people used to grow plants in dirt,& how we used to use water (alot of waste)compared to how we now use water, ie hydroponics(little loss)anyway.again, nice vid..peace.

thanks for the video i was skeptic about gettin a LED light i was leaning towards more towards a 600watt hps/mh light but now i think im gonna get the LED one
-
what is the price difference? I install LED lights in inground pools and they are extremely expensive and once they break from leak or other its over. They retail at about 600$. Are LED UFO's that expensive?

hps is red spectrum better for flowers, mh is better for vegetables.
the 630nm red that won was that a red spectrum only lamp or a dual or triband model? and what is the manufacturer of the winning light i noticed that that question has been asked many times on here but i can't seem to find the answer?

It was a triband led with 7:1:1 ratio of red, blue, orange.
We are not going to disclose the manufacturer, as it was stated before, as we did the research, and chose the best one as our main product we distribute.

alright so lets get a comparison on what manufacturer makes the best LED lights then

That we cannot disclose, hence that is what separates us from our competitors, and of course we put in the effort.

Nice to know that 1W 630nm LEDs are the best spectrum frequency-wise for growthWhat surprises me most is that two 630nm units performed worse than the single 630nm unit. Can there be such a thing as too much light, disregarding temperature?

I do not believe there can be too much. Again, the poor performing lights were a different manufacturer.
