This is a test for an upcoming docutainment project involving a scientist building strange robots.
This video includes animation tests & a compositing clip done in preproduction, and it represents my animation skills the best way possible...

    Did you use global illumination? It doesn't look like you did. I think that is the only criticism i have.

  • I tried...

    back in the old days I was workin' on this test using strata (which is already more than 2 years ago) ... I actually photographed a chromeball which I could at least use for the reflections, but the rendering system in Strata still is quite restrictive & slow, so...

    ..not having such problems with max :P

    its better to use 3d graphics lol

    (if its not allready)

  • I used Strata 3D CX for 3D & After Effects for compositing...

    but now I'm working with 3ds max...
