On Bank Holiday Monday, one off 8p Duke of Gloucester hauled a tour to Carmarthen in West Wales.
I decided to film the tour down in Carmarthenshire at Kidwelly and Ferryside, however whilst waiting for the train at Cardiff I saw it approach and just managed to get the camera out in time. We see it run over the bridge at Kidwelly flats, then a less than ideal shot at Ferryside where I had to change the set up last second as someone used the crossing literally a minute before it was due through, so I had to move the tripod out the way (hence I had to setup again in seconds so couldn't remove the Stop Look and Listen sign), before finally seeing it at Bridgend.
I haven't had access to my main computer in the last few days so this is why it's delayed, sorry for this.
Thanks to JBTEvans
Another great video Jamie, good to see the coal pusher being used at Kidwelly, and a superb shot tearing through Bridgend...Bob

@robmasterman Thanks Bob, I wondered what the smoke was coming from the tender, and I was pleased with the shot at Bridgend as it came out of nowhere. I wish I could of got a better shot at Ferryside, but despite no one using the crossing for a hour and a half before it, as soon as the barriers came down someone wanted to use it, before changing their mind and going to sit on the wall instead having to rush to set up. Thanks for the comment

@JBTEvans Thanks Josh, was pleased with the panning considering I almost tripped over the tripod doing it! Thanks for the comment
