Beads are used as models for atoms:
White beads for hydrogen atoms,
red beads for oxygen atoms,
black beads for carbon atoms,
green beads for chlorine atoms.

By fixing pieces of a nail to one O-model and to 2 C-models there masses are designed to visualize the atomic weight:
The O-model is balanced by 16 H-models.
The C-models are balanced by 12 H-models and by 14 for the C-14 isotope.

Perlen dienen als Modelle für Atome:
Wasserstoff-Atome: WEISS,
Sauerstoff-Atome: ROT,
Kohlenstoff-Atome: SCHWARZ,
Chloratome: GRÜN.
Eine O-Modell und zwei C-Modelle werden durch Befestigung von Metall (Nagelstück, Bleichblech-Streifen) an den Perlen so beschwert, dass man sie zum Visualisieren von Atomgewichten nutzen kann:
Das O-Modell wird von 16 H-Modellen aufgewogen.
Ein C-Modell wird 12 H-Modellen aufgewogen, das zweite von 14 (C-14-Isotop).
