are you serious brother...The Scholar would be the 1st to pick up his sword b'cos he'll be the 1st to recognise the enemies of Islaam.....b'cos he's a scholar of the deen and the rest await his instruction in deen b'cos he's a scholar.."How many a scholars have been the first to be martyred" for speaking the truth before us average muslims knew better...

dont get me wrong brother...Mujahids who fight in the way of Allah as prescribed by Allah and His Messenger (SAW) are are and will be amongst the Honoured In Paradise along with The righteous Scholars...But "The iNK of the Scholar is holier than The Sword of The Martyr"...means the one who spreads Islam by Ink (i.e without shedding blood) is greater than the one who spreads Islam by the Sword (shedding blood)...U get me...and i'm not totally sure but i think Muhammed (SAW) said it
