During Hol Hamoed Sukkot lovers of nostalgia flocked to the Muse Festival in Shoham to relive 100 years of kibbutz life. The show tracked the 100 years since the opening of Kbbutz Degania 'A' and the whole kibbutz movement and presented a soundtrack of those hundred years that was sure to attract lovers of nostalgia from all over the country and have them reliving the music and history of a century of kibbutz of life. Well known music industry guru Yoram Rotem was on hand at the festival, a son of Degania Aleph, he has become a well known editor of music and is the Manager of the Music desk at Galei zahal army radio station. Rotem explained the significance and history of some the classic nostalgic songs that have become a permanent fixture of Israeli folklore.
