@killerinstinct1337 the the point of tasting food, seeing art, and being with others other than ourselves is all an experience in the image or reflection. This is a vanity thing that is akin to looking in a mirror. An examined life is what is being lived which is the purpose I think being talked about.

thanks Christine for posting this video. I was just directed here and I can see why. My ego has been telling me I still need to do more in the physical. When all I truly feel like doing is stepping completely into my god-self. Thank you!

As much as I regret to say this , But I Disagree , I say our lives have no special purpose , because it is we who create our purpose , Life by itself is meaningless .. What is Food if there is nothing to Feed? What is Art if there is no one to see it? What is a person if there's no one other than you? .. I think we create our values , morals , codes of conduct , etc .. so that we may be able to make our own purpose , because i think otherwise we'd be like machines , creatures of no sentiment.

just read about Mevlana ...Creator of Sufism.. Then you can learn the purpose , and then tell people what it is .
