Dancer and Twinning Machine_short.MPG

Documentation of a dance modified in real time with the Twinning Machine, a video sampler coded in Processing. The documentation footage comes from the DV camera that was being used to capture the image of the dancer for the computer. The video flowed into a buffer in real time. IBy controlling the movement of a virtual tapehead, I projected his movements back onto the screen behind him reversed, slowed down, sampled randomly, and so on, enabling him to dance with himself.
