I just use YouTube. I don't know what an unsupported video format is. Sorry I can't help you there.

The pattern of the sequence depends on the notes involved. For example, it could be two notes up and one down, repeat as needed. Or two notes down, one up, repeat as needed. Those are both frequently used sequences recommended by Darol Anger.

The question of getting the left had and right hand both in the video is tricky. Some fiddlers opt for just the left hand. I may try that also.
