My broken finger is much better now so I hope I can start doing live vids again soon. Thanks to all. -Ron
Jethro Tull From the album Aqualung
Mother Goose As I did walk by Hampstead Fair I came upon Mother Goose -- so I turned her loose -- she was screaming. And a foreign student said to me -- was it really true there are elephants and lions too in Piccadilly Circus?
Walked down by the bathing pond to try and catch some sun. Saw at least a hundred schoolgirls sobbing into hankerchiefs as one. I don't believe they knew I was a schoolboy.
And a bearded lady said to me -- if you start your raving and your misbehaving -- you'll be sorry. Then the chicken-fancier came to play -- with his long red beard (and his sister's weird: she drives a lorry).
Laughed down by the putting green -- I popped `em in their holes. Four and twenty labourers were labouring -- digging up their gold. I don't believe they knew that I was Long John Silver.
Saw Johnny Scarecrow make his rounds in his jet-black mac (which he won't give back) -- stole it from a snow man.

Ok, the words to this song are a little strange . . . but . . . Ron as usual all of the instruments and your voice are just fantastic! I guess I need to look into Jethro Tull . . . . Lindsey
Hi Lindsey, thank you. You are very correct, the lyrics to this song are very strange indeed... I have no idea what it really means, but I think it is really just clever word play and imagery, kind of like a dream. I was more interested in the flutes and guitar to be honest :o) Thanks, Lindsey. -Ron
Can requests do Ron to him? Please, cover Porpoise Song, Carole King's song for the Monkees and you come to the highest thing, jeje (sorry about my english...)
Bravo Ron!!!! If I had to do a billboard of my favorite songs this one would be in the top 10. Ian Anderson is an excellent composer and musician and I am a fan for more than 35 years of this man. And you also are a great guitarist because this arpegiado-dotted one that does the guitar, I can assure it you, the whole world cannot do it.
Ian Anderson, I saw it live, he does it with many facility because, I repeat, is a highly gifted musician. This song is folk fully of happiness, a beautiful song. In Spanish it exists the expression " puts on the skin of hen ". This is exactly what happens.
