Do you consider this to be a better choice than the Ultra?

@icychap The Ultra is also a great option. It is lighter, but only comes in the lengths of 50, 55, and 60cm, therefore making it a bit short for the general guided mountaineering that we do on Rainier. As an intro axe, it may be too short for some (depending on your height). As far as strength goes, the construction is the same as the Raven pro, it just has an angled spike at the bottom as opposed to a plunging spike. Hope that helps!
