UPDATE: Fukushima plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Co. claims that an earlier measurement showing a huge spike in radiation levels at the stricken Japanese nuclear complex was 'a mistake'. According to TEPCO spokesman, water testing showing 10 million times higher in radioactivity than normal was 'not credible'.

Meanwhile, three workers have already been exposed to dangerous materials in the continuing battle to avert catastrophe in the wake of the earthquake tragedy which destroyed large parts of the country. The official number of those killed by the quake and tsunami stands at over 10,000, with many more homeless or missing. But Fukushima remains the biggest concern - with the ongoing possibility of nuclear meltdown.

    That is EXACTLY RIGHT!

Lying to the point of having a US President violate the Constitution and start World War 3 (defined by "a war on 2 continents) using the US MILITARY in an ILLEGAL IMMORAL United Nations action that violates the UN's own Charter, just to distract people from the worst human crisis the world has ever faced, brought to you by General Electric, parent company of MSNBC, CNBC, NBC etc. etc. etc.

  • It's a fucking disgrace that the copy for this video says fukushima is the biggest concern. A few plant workers with a minuscule rise in cancer risk is nowhere near as bad as 10,000 men women and children dead.

It's callous and disgusting to even suggest it.

There are no facts in the video at all, just appeals to ignorant fear of many different kinds.

  • @imM, three months later, most of the" innuendo" about F-D #1 turned out to be facts and most of the "facts" as represented by Tepco and Japanco turned out to be innuendo. With over three million people living in or near hot spots worse than the Chernobyl mandatory evacuation zones and cesium being excreted by children, and little help on offer from the "authorities," RT's reporting has been largely justified. Tell ya what, you move to Fukushima, and I'll take in a family from Tohoku area.

  • Need solution for Fukushima nuclear disaster and radioactive waste problem ? Take a look here KBVxUd6HdS0 and here YYdqakZI99o and here aTSoWzOTnWo. - And now ? - That's easy: Send an email to Japanese Gov. members, representatives, media, etc. etc. including the links until sanity and reason get the upper hand over witlessness and ignorance! But be patiently, it may need some hundred years as learnt from history ...

  • @akronsthehardest (Part2)This is the first time that France, the world's second largest operator of nuclear plants, has dispatched experts to Japan since the Fukushima reactors were damaged by the March 11th quake and tsunami.

Also the U.S experts have helped the nuclear plants fixed by Tunamis. Don’t give up! France, the U.S and Japan!

  • @akronsthehardest (Part1)France says it will send three more nuclear experts to Japan to help remove highly radioactive water from the troubled power plant.

Two other French experts are already in Japan and are holding talks with the plant operator, Tokyo Electric Power Company. The five are from French-based Areva, one of the world's biggest nuclear energy firms.

They will help to remove the polluted water that is hampering efforts to restore the plant's cooling functions.

  • @MissionSara0115 how with the damage shown and the explosions can you be sure the exposure was so low i dont believe you there many more reactors and explosions and all the sea water involved get your facts right i CALL BULLSHIT ON YOU

  • Radiation data

    (1)Chernobyl Core 300,000 mSv/h

    (2)K-19 submarine incident 54,000 mSv/h

    (3)Chernobyl workers average 170 mSv/h

    Fukushima Core Peak 400 mSv/h

Fukushima plants main gate 11 mSv/h

The sievert (symbol: Sv) is the SI derived unit of dose equivalent radiation. It attempts to quantitatively evaluate the biological effects of ionizing radiation as opposed to the physical aspects. Generally, 400 Sv is affected to be broken health of people.

  • @XPIOLT I hope their Geiger counter will be up to standards.
