Wonderful young singer with beautiful technique, and getting better all the time. She puts such feeling into this aria. The role (Semele) is perfect for her. A fine Baroque singer!

Not a good rendition by Danielle...Long way to go..........And I do agree the Renee Fleming is not a good Baroque singer. But i love the way way she renders Strauss Puccini and some other composers...Simply Beautiful.........

Renee Fleming????? I don't think so! Her voice is heavy and operatic, not to mention overblown. Not a good Baroque singer, sorry!

@raigekimaru The problem with operasingers these days, are that they are developed for the mich and not the theatre. Where did the great voices go? Not in the sexy body if de Niese...

we are not opera singers. Actually I would have loved being a contratenor but I find it easy to recognize I can't sing, what she doesn't do.
