Second Flight of GoPro Hero HD on board SkyFly Max, over Olmos Park in San Antonio Texas, December 14, 2010. SkyFly Max is all stock except for radio system, and is using a Kinetic RC 2200 mAh 11.1V 25C battery. Radio system used is a Spektrum DX6i, and AR6200 receiver. Sustained Winds were about 7 to 9 mph from the SW, with gusts to about 12. At cruising altitude, the winds were substantially stronger, but The SkyFly Max seemed to handle the weight of the Hero HD without any major problems. On the first flight, the Hero HD was mounted a little closer to the plane, and I think that affected performance. On this flight, I used a mount that spaced the camera a little further away from the plane, providing more airflow under the Hero HD, and reducing drag
