Bloody Kisses is the third album by Type O Negative. It marked significant stylistic growth for the band in terms of songwriting and production values, and it is also the last recording to feature Sal Abruscato on drums. The album further established Type O Negative motifs, such as including cover songs restylized into gloomy Gothic metal, featuring sample-heavy soundscapes in between songs, and dry, satirical humor. This album includes a cover of the Seals and Crofts song "Summer Breeze".

Bloody Kisses was the first album on Roadrunner Records to achieve gold and platinum certification.

  • I remember in Guavaween in Tampa back in 99' they where the only band that didnt get booed.. and seriosly if they someone had disrespected them I would punched them in the face and Im 35 I guess im immature still but this is the only band that deserves respect way back when I was like 22..and still does at 35... and I got laid by making a Peter Stele impression : ) .

  • @DKessler The Origin of Feces wasn't a legitimate album so to speak, the label gave them money to record a live CD, they spent the money on other shit and made a fake live CD as a joke, which ended up being the Origin of Feces.

  • @vitalsign0 Bloody Kisses was the third. Slow, deep, and Hard. The Origin Of The Feces, Bloody Kisses
