Liza Minnelli used to be FANTASTIC and she could sing (and danced her ass off) She used to have a fantastic ass too.

Well mate I'm glad you had a good time but I was there and I gotta say, she's terrible. Her voice only improved to a standard befitting her legendary status for the last three songs. Most of the show she was out of breath and several of her best songs have been dropped a key or two to accomadate her diminished range. Her age has nothing to do with it, she's just abused herself too much over the years. I saw a 69-year-old Tina Turner in London this year and she kicked ass HARD!

I'm seeing Liza Sunday night. She will be shocked when she sees the barn she has to sing in here in Melbourne. What a good sort she was on Australian Idol.... to say something nice about most of those singers would be hard for anyone. Liza is'nt old, she's around the same age as Bette Midler and Cher, both sold out in Vegas. Yes, I love Liza, I just would've preferred to see the New York show, as I have the cd. And she had dancers and singers in the second half. Maybe next time. Robbie.

I'm so glad she is back kicking a** in a way only Miss.Minnelli can! She is amazing! The piano player you speak of is Billy Stritch he has been with her for years and write some of her songs. He is an amazing musician in his own! GREAT on the piano.
