A single 55 gallon drum will hold enough emergency supplies for 2 people for a month.Keep one of these in your trunk 24/7.See my sight for a complete list of all 800 items in the kit. You'll also need 3 15 gallon containers of water at a bare minimum. The total weight of all is less than 700 lbs.Keep one in EVERY vehicle.

i think you're talking about the rules of 3. You can survive 3 hours without shelter, 3 days without water and 3 weeks without food. You should look for shelter, water and food in that order.

@HaMeRcHo u can go 6 days without food and water
I very much enjoyed your version of your survival kit. Being a woman, outdoorsy I try to think of every little thing to shove in there because I'm always thinking of atleast a 2nd person in my BOB, I'm getting ready and will have 3 bags intermingled with what we may need in each- but my own bag, and vehicle bag will cover alot. I find it fun coming across new ideas and what to include. Keep up the great videos- I don't own one but I would love to figure out how to video my own!

@shilodawn60 Thank you very much! Made it with a camera phone. Did the best I could.

It's worst case scenario you fall off a boat in freezing water or your plane crashes in the desert or the freezing rain in the wind.

Yes thanks for catching that, the rule of threes. Also in my haste I left out to prevent bug bits as a medical survival rule. Let me know if you catch more.

@etekballer14 Correct. But It's also good to know, if you go into shock when you fall into freezing cold water, be sure to take a deep breath before you fall in because of the body's natural response to inhale.
