Take a ride with Sno*Drift 2nd place winner Antione L'Estage as he tackles extremely slippery SS3 with co-driver, Nathalie Richard. And this is even with a flat tire!

  • Awesome, I love watching full stages through like this. Excellent co-driving as well - the repeats and careful emphasis on important info are things I would need if I were a driver!

  • @gear1152 All navigators are doing a survey prior to the day of event. They cruised the course at slow pace and took notes of every single obstacles and routing.

  • @Bongwater123

theres plenty of tracks from everyones practice runs

  • wow that shit looks slippery. looks like a trail of ice from the previous tire tracks. kind of a disadvantage for the later drivers. it would be really icy and packed down. being the second car down the track after fresh snowfall would have the fastest time

  • he's so smooth on the steering input; it looks like he's just out for a Sunday drive.

  • @hadabenz

    How do you know ?

  • Amazing footage! I wish I could drive like that in the snow. I can't wait to see what he does at XGames next week. Got a leg up on the rest of them for sure!

  • @gear1152 in Rally America, they're given to the teams by RA. It's actually illegal to write your own notes. They call the provided notes "Stage Notes", and when you take notes prior to the event, and note the speed at which you're to take corners, etc., they call it "Pace Notes". Hope that helps.

  • Ken block did a practice run on a course like this with no navigator and he wrecked so baaad, google the video and you will find it... its fucking awesome

  • Very cool. I have a question about the notes that the co-driver is reading. Are they given to the team by the organizers or does the team drive the course and write their own notes?

  • yeah, I know. That remembers me on a Simpsons episode where Homer is driving with snow chains on the wheels and a piano on the roof in summer on the main road of Springfield :D

I think that was the monorail episode
